    • Activities that are perceived to have a violent or dangerous nature i.e., Boxing

    • Water sports

    • Local Motor Sports

    • Contentious animal-related sports

    • Sponsorships of individuals

    • Social/Club sports teams

    • Irresponsible or excessive drinking

    • Political groups

    • Religious Groups

    • Weddings

    • Funerals

      NBL is committed to contribute and support the future of sport in Namibia at a national level.

      Windhoek Draught continued its support the Namibian National Rugby Team (the Windhoek Draught Welwitschias) and through this support, the Welwitschias has been able to qualify for the past three Rugby World Cup Tournaments.

      Tafel Lager continued its support of the national soccer team (the Tafel Lager Brave Warriors). This support helped the team to qualify for both the COSAFA and AFCON Tournaments. The Tafel Lager Brave Warriors qualified for the last 16 places as well as claiming their first win ever in an AFCON Tournament.

      Richelieu continued its support to the National Cricket Team (the Richelieu Eagles) which saw the Eagles qualify for their second T20 World Cup. Namibia is currently ranked 11th in the T20 format, the highest they have ever been ranked
